							The Committee represents the interests of the Republican Party in the Town of McCandless, Pennsylvania. For more detail see “Our Mission - what the Committee Does”. McCandless is broken into 7 wards, with each ward having 2 to 4 districts for a total of 22. Republican voters in each district elect one committee man and one committee woman every 6 years. If no one runs for a position, our chairman appoints someone, preferably from that district, to the position. To find out who your committee people are, see “Your Representative on the Committee”. The next level above our committee is the Republican Committee of Allegheny County, followed by the Republican State Committee of Pennsylvania, and finally the Republican National Committee.
